History of the Holding

Holding’s foundation originates from the end of the 20th century.
It started with the enterprise “Uromgaz” in September of 1997. This company specializes in production of gas-distributing and gas processing equipment for the companies of “Gazprom” including skid-mounted automated gas-distributing stations of different efficiency.

Having examined modern projects of the leading domestic design institutes, having done some investigation in gas-distributing stations for serial production as well as the experience of overseas companies (“Rombach GmbH” и “Schlumberge”), experts of “Uromgaz” engineering department developed fundamentals for new concept of gas-distributing stations “Urozhay”.

Today the company has put out 426 Automatic Gas-Distributing Stations (AGDS) of different configuration and output and 78 Fuel Start-up Treatment Facility (FSGTF) . For more than eight years “Uromgaz” executes design of new equipment and upgrade the existing process facilities.

Today “Uromgaz” has all necessary licences for accomplishing design, construction and installation work for production and exploitation of delivery measuring stations. All equipment has got certificates of compliance.

Specialists of “Uromgaz” have created new modifications of component parts for gas-distributing stations: separating filters, drainage filters, new types of preheaters, fuel- and impulsive gas-purification units.

In gas-supply system for the units of low-gas demand there is manufacture of 29 varieties of regulating reducers.

Operatives gave a very good appreciation for the reducers РДМ with protective facilities. They are noted for outlet pressure high accuracy support, effective noise reduction system and exclude venting of gas into atmosphere.

The enterprise has automated control system ФСУ-ГРС that allows to control natural gas delivery to the customer and functioning of gas processing facilities.

Work is underway on further development of gas-distributing stations: making of in-house feed-odorant pump, availability for automatic water drainage out of filters, more thorough research is undertaken for automatic complexes for GDS control.

Fair attention is focused on the goods quality as this factor appears to be the main in competitiveness.

“Uromgaz” Ltd. received certificate that proves application of international quality system ISO 9001 at the enterprise.

Resuming year 2001 “Uromgaz” has entered into top 100 enterprises of Russian Federation.

“Thermogaz” Ltd. is a diversified enterprise that deals with design and production of boiler equipment that runs on any kind of fuel, steel constructions of any complexity and etc, in a word, it carries out whole package of works for gas consumers: designing, equipment production, mounting and commissioning.

For projects development and its promotion along with the products there is a special department for implementation of energy-saving equipment.  It has made company`s manufacture popular in many regional areas of Russia, design is highly esteemed by
OAO “Gazprom”.

Energy-saving field is engaged into production of multi-purposes power equipment.

Company has engineering department, its experts have invented big variety of production that had wide spread occurrence. For production sector air-gas heaters (AGH) assigned, they allow to save gas by means of flexible power control.

For agricultural sector (poultry yards and pig houses heating) there intended air heaters of mixing type ВНС-90 “Samoom” with coefficient of efficiency 100%. They use methane and propane.

Along with radiant heaters, gas convectors, the most remarkable project has been skid-mounted Automobile Gas Filling Compressor Station –BI “Methane”. To date the company has designed wide lineup of CNG-stations of different capacity.

All these developments were successfully tested, approved with certificates and put into production.

In recent years one can observe massive conversion of automobiles to natural gas. To create a chain of stations for fuelling vehicles with compressed natural gas in 2005 company experts together with Italian company “SAFE” floated Russian-Italian joint venture “Metania”. This company, using reliable SAFE equipment, fulfills design, manufacture, mounting and ensures support manning of gas filling compressor stations of any efficiency along with any inlet pressure.

In 2005 it led to foundation of “NGT-Holding” (Holding- National Gas Technology) as a structural joining up of group of the companies in the Ural region for performing integrated gasification.

Backbone companies of the Holding are “Thermogaz” Ltd., ZAO “Uromgaz”, “Metania” Ltd., ZAO “NGT-Element Truboprovod”, later on “NGT-Contract” Ltd., “NGT-Transport” Ltd., “NGT-Les” Ltd., “NGT-Energogazservice”.  Labour force totally is over 1000 employees.

“NGT-Holding” holds more than 40 patents for the equipment it produces. High productivity level achieved by each of the companies within Holding and well-established business relations gained foreign and domestic market.  All that formed unique holding structure: high-capacity production space, well- coordinated design group, capable to solve engineering problems of utmost complexity; sales department that monitors the needs of current and prospective customers.
